The Story ofGlendower
Nuwara Eliya — Little England — is one of Sri Lanka's most distinctive destinations. Developed during the British colonial era as a retreat for planters and administrators, it sits at nearly two kilometres above sea level in the heart of the tea country. The air is cool, the light is different here, and the town retains a character found nowhere else on the island.
