Making a Reservation

Reservations at Hotel Glendower may be made directly through our website, by telephone, via email, or through authorised online travel agencies and booking platforms. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.

A reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Hotel Glendower, accompanied by a valid booking reference number. We recommend retaining this confirmation for your records and presenting it at check-in.

• Direct bookings (website / phone / email) receive our best available rate
• Group bookings of 4 or more rooms require direct contact with reservations
• All reservations are subject to applicable Government taxes and levies
• Rates are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) or Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR)

Deposit Requirements

To secure your reservation, a prepayment equivalent to the first night's accommodation charge is required at the time of booking. For stays of five nights or more, a prepayment of 50% of the total room tariff may be requested.

Deposits may be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard), bank transfer, or other methods as agreed with the hotel. Credit card details are held securely and processed in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Arrival & Departure

Standard check-in time is 14:00 (2:00 PM). We endeavour to have your room available as early as possible; however, early arrival is subject to prior availability. If you are arriving before 14:00, our team will gladly store your luggage while you enjoy the hotel's amenities.

Check-out is by 12:00 noon. Late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may attract an additional charge. Please request late check-out with reception no later than the evening prior to your departure.

• Valid government-issued photo identification is required at check-in
• A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be held for incidentals
• Early check-in (before 09:00) may require booking from the previous night
• Room keys must be returned at check-out; replacements may be charged

Accepted Payment Methods

Hotel Glendower accepts the following forms of payment for room charges and additional services:

• Major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
• Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) — cash
• United States Dollars (USD) — cash, at prevailing exchange rates
• Bank transfer (advance bookings only; reference must match reservation)

Settlement of the room account is required at or before check-out. The hotel reserves the right to seek advance payment for outstanding balances during longer stays.
