Children at Hotel Glendower

Children of all ages are welcome at Hotel Glendower. Our spacious rooms, beautiful garden grounds, and attentive staff create a comfortable and engaging environment for young guests. We ask that parents and guardians review our policies to ensure a pleasant stay for all.

Hotel Glendower does not permit pets on property, but we assure all families that our team gives the same warmth and attention to young guests as to any other member of the family.

02 — Age & Charges

Child Age Categories & Tariffs

Room rates are based on occupancy. Children sharing a room with parents or guardians are accommodated as follows:

Infants
0 – 2 yrs
Complimentary. No additional charge when sharing parents' room.
Children
3 – 11 yrs
Accommodated at a reduced supplemental rate when sharing with adults.
Young Adults
12 yrs & above
Charged at the full adult rate as per the standard room tariff.

Child rates apply only when sharing the same room as at least one paying adult. Additional children requiring separate beds may incur further charges; please enquire with our reservations team.

03 — Cots & Extra Beds

Cots, Cribs & Additional Bedding

Please note that Hotel Glendower does not provide cots, cribs, or extra beds as part of its standard inventory. Our 9 heritage rooms are furnished in their original character and do not accommodate additional bedding beyond the room's standard configuration.

  • Cots and cribs are not available at the property
  • Extra beds cannot be provided in standard rooms
  • Families requiring additional sleeping space should book connecting rooms or additional rooms
  • Please contact our reservations team to discuss the most suitable arrangement for your family

04 — Dining

Children at The King Prawn Restaurant

Children are welcome in The King Prawn Restaurant for all meal periods. Our kitchen team are pleased to prepare simple, child-friendly dishes on request. A 10% dining discount is available to all hotel guests, including children.

  • Children's portions and simpler preparations available on request
  • High chairs are available for younger diners — please request in advance
  • Children under 12 dining with parents are welcome at any hour during restaurant opening
  • Children in The 19th Hole Pub must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times
05 — Supervision

Supervision & Property Guidelines

In the interest of all guests' comfort and safety, parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children at all times while on Hotel Glendower's premises, including the gardens and public areas.

  • Children must be supervised in all public areas, including gardens, the lounge, and the restaurant
  • Running or play that may disturb other guests in the lounge or dining areas is kindly discouraged
  • Hotel Glendower does not provide childcare, babysitting, or supervised activities
  • Damage to hotel property caused by children is the financial responsibility of the accompanying adult
